Normal Diamensions:One gang-3”*3”.
4 square junction box electrical provides an easy method for the installation of electrical devices such as switches and receptacles. This 3”*3” box comes with 4 pre-installed ear screws.
The square junction box is in drawn construction and made from galvanized steel that provides protection against corrosion.

Application

3”*3” box made from steel and galvanised, with integrated earth. Specifically designed for 20mm steel electrical conduit surface mount systems.
The junction box includes a back-mounted entry for 20mm threaded conduit. It can be used in a variety of ways, including a simple junction box fitted with a fade plate (ordered separately).
It is compatible with 66mm ceiling plates on 50.8mm mounting hole centers, which means it can accommodate exposed bulb pendants, wire grippers, hooks and our large selection of wall sconces.
This junction box is part of our line of steel conduit and fittings. This product can be used as part of a surface mount solution where there are no wall holes for internal wiring, and it is suitable for concrete, masonry and other surfaces.

Integrated earth point

All wire splices must be contained within a junction box for a building to meet electrical code,  although sometimes splices are missed and may present hazards as a result. Any exposed wiring can be dangerous, but exposed wire splices are especially prone to accident because they can be tripped over, expel sparks or misrepresent themselves be misperceived as playthings by children or pets. Junction boxes are helpful for wire splices because they also allow one to easily locate the wire splice area.
